The information was emphasized by speakers at the seminar "Connecting the Smart Mobility Industry" on November 1 in Hanoi.
Mr. Cheng Chih Ting - Head of Taiwan Trade Center, Inc. Representative Office in Hanoi said that the co-organization of the seminar in Vietnam by the Taiwan External Trade Bureau (TITA) and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) is an important event in creating opportunities for dialogue, information exchange and establishing key partnerships in the smart mobility industry.
Mr. Tony Meng - General Director of Delta Electronics in Vietnam, emphasized that with the significant increase in popularity of electric vehicles and smart transportation systems, Vietnam is one of the potential markets.
"Vietnam is witnessing a significant increase in the development of smart mobility solutions. The number of electric vehicles and smart transportation systems are increasingly popular and widely deployed.
In the future, the smart mobility industry in Vietnam will continue to grow strongly due to investment and support from the Government, increased awareness of environmental issues and the growing demand for convenient and sustainable mobility solutions," said Mr. Tony Meng.
Meanwhile, Mr. Tran Kien - Deputy General Director of Advantech Vietnam Co., Ltd., said that smart technology in traffic management, especially in the context of the increase of electric vehicle models and charging infrastructure, is becoming more and more popular.
"Mobile applications and real-time monitoring systems are deployed to improve safety and increase the smoothness of traffic. Along with that, public transport projects such as smart bus systems, smart parking systems and solutions to enhance public transport are also being implemented very vigorously," said Mr. Kien.
However, according to the Deputy General Director of Advantech Vietnam Co., Ltd., investing in this field is a big challenge, not every business can do it. Therefore, cooperation and investment from international corporations and organizations along with the support of management agencies are needed.
Participating in the exhibition in 2024 on new trends and products in the field of smart mobility is also considered one of the solutions that businesses in this field should pay attention to.
The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) said that the exhibition "2035 E-Mobility Taiwan" will focus on solutions for renewable energy and electric vehicles, introducing new vehicle models and advanced battery technology.
While “Taipei AMPA” is an exhibition for the automotive and motorcycle industry, developing autonomous vehicles, “AutoTronics Taipei” is an exhibition for automotive and motorcycle technology. This exhibition focuses on IoT (Internet of Things) solutions and smart technology in the mobility industry.
